Mr. Yuriy has an abundance of experience in Immigration, International and Criminal Law. He has worked on an extensive Department of Justice(DOJ) investigations concerning Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations. The violations were asserted against companies conducting business in many Eastern European and Central Asian countries.
Furthermore, as a Public Interest Law Foundation Grant recipient, Yuriy worked for the European Roma Rights Center, a Human Rights NGO in Budapest, Hungary, to safeguard International Human Rights of the Roma population in Europe. Furthermore, he was a volunteer at the International Law Clinic in Seattle and was a lead researcher and editor for the Human Trafficking Trends project at Seattle University School of Law.
Yuriy gained vast Criminal Law expertise while clerking for Federal Prosecutors at the United States Attorney's Office in the Violent Crimes and Terrorism Unit, in Seattle, WA. Additionally, he had the opportunity to defend the rights of the underprivileged as a law clerk at the Seattle's Public Defenders Office's Felony Crimes Unit.
Yuriy was a recipient of the Donald Fowler Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship. He also was involved with the Model United Nations Program and studied in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America and Africa.
Yuriy is fluent in Russian and has knowledge of basic Spanish.
